Our Commitment

We are committed to operating in a responsible and sustainable way, reducing our environmental impact while supporting positive social and ethical practices within the wedding industry.

We recognise that our work has an impact on the environment, from travel and materials to energy use and waste, and we are continually working to minimise this impact wherever possible.

Environmental Actions

We are actively working to:

Travel & Transport

• Plan routes efficiently to reduce mileage, 2025 also allowed us to purchase an electric car for all wedding and work travel, which has massively reduced our emissions when visiting venues and shooting weddings. We also love to lift share/offer lifts to any of our associates/second shooters when we can.

• Combine bookings where possible

Materials & Equipment

• Invest in long-lasting, reusable equipment, we also use amazing companies who provide a rental service for gear and equipment.

• Avoid single-use plastics wherever possible

• Use digital communication instead of printing

Energy & Resources

• Reduce electricity use when not in operation

• Use energy-efficient equipment where possible

Waste

• Recycle responsibly at events and in day-to-day operations

• Reduce packaging and disposable materials

Working With Others

We aim to collaborate with venues and suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability and continuously look for ways to improve our environmental impact together.

Ongoing Improvement

We will review this policy annually and update our actions as we grow and learn more about sustainable practices.

We just wanted to share a little about the steps we’ve been taking to reduce our carbon footprint — something that’s become really important to us as our business continues to grow.

Most excitingly, we’ve recently switched to an electric car for all wedding travel, which has massively reduced our emissions when visiting venues and shooting weddings, pre wedding shoots etc.

Alongside that, we’re actively working on:

• Keeping everything digital — galleries, contracts, planning guides and delivery, this also extends to advertising, most of our advertising is now done through social media.
  • Reducing waste on wedding days (no single-use plastics, minimal packaging, reusable gear)
  • Supporting local venues and suppliers wherever possible
  • Using energy-efficient equipment for editing and storage

Looking ahead, we’re hoping to introduce even more eco-friendly initiatives, such as:

• Carbon offsetting for longer travel weddings
  • Planting trees or donating to environmental charities per booking
  • Collaborating with venues to highlight sustainable wedding options
  • Sharing eco-wedding tips with couples during planning

We love working with venues who care about sustainability, and would be thrilled to keep building greener weddings together.
